Do the sensors work without internet?
Local automations run on the gateway, so lights, sirens and valve shut-offs still respond when the internet drops. Remote notifications resume when the connection returns.
Can sensors control the air conditioning?
Yes. Presence sensors and door contacts are commonly used to pull the AC setpoint back in an empty room, which is the single biggest energy saving in a Gulf property.
Are smoke and gas detectors suitable for UAE civil defence requirements?
