Human Presence Sensor (Radar Detector, ZigBee)

The LifeSmart Human Presence Sensor uses millimetre-wave Doppler radar rather than traditional PIR, which lets it detect both movement and static presence - a person sitting still at a desk or reading in a chair is still registered as present. It reports over ZigBee 3.0 to the gateway and is designed for ceiling mounting through a 55mm cut-out.

This makes it well suited to UAE and Oman living rooms, offices and hotel suites where PIR-based sensors often switch lighting or AC off while a room is still occupied because the occupant isn't moving. Three sensitivity levels and an adjustable hold time from 30 seconds to 30 minutes let an installer tune the sensor's behaviour to the room.

It also has smart interference blocking to reduce false triggers from curtains, fans or reflective surfaces, and reports its detection radius across big motion, minor motion and breathing-level presence bands, giving finer control over automation than a simple PIR trigger.
