DEFED Indoor Siren
Indoor Safety Alarm
Official UAE & Oman distributor
Sourced, supplied and supported by Epsilon Wave Technologies — three-time Worldwide Best LifeSmart Distributor, 15,000+ properties delivered.
Overview
The LifeSmart DEFED Indoor Siren is the audible alarm component of the DEFED security range, delivering 87 to 105dB at one metre when triggered by a linked motion or door/window sensor. It is wall mounted and runs on two CR123A batteries, rated for up to five years of standby, so it does not need mains wiring near the mounting point.
In UAE and Oman villas and apartments the indoor siren is typically installed in a hallway or near a main bedroom so an intrusion alert is audible throughout the home even if a resident is asleep. Its 800m open-field CoSS range means one Smart Station can cover a large villa plot without signal issues between the siren and the gateway.
As part of the DEFED ecosystem it works alongside the Smart Station, motion sensors, door/window sensors and key fob, giving a complete self-monitored alarm system that a resident can arm and disarm from the LifeSmart app or a key fob at the door.
Epsilon Wave Technologies LLC is the first and main LifeSmart distributor in the UAE and Oman, and a three-time winner of the LifeSmart Best Distributor Worldwide award. Units are supplied with regional warranty and Dubai-based technical support. Request a quotation for your security system.
