Presence Sensor 360(Ceiling Mount)

The PIERRE Pro Presence Sensor 360 (Ceiling Mount) is a radar-based occupancy sensor designed to detect minor movements, including breathing, rather than relying purely on motion like a conventional PIR sensor. This makes it a better fit for offices, conference rooms, hotel lobbies and large villa living areas across the UAE and Oman where occupants may sit still for long periods.

Operating at a 5.8GHz radar frequency with a 360° plane detection angle, it is designed for ceiling mounting between 2m and 8m in height, covering a wide area from a single fixing point. Detection area and hold time (5 seconds to 30 minutes) are both configurable, letting an installer tune the sensor for a small meeting room or a larger open-plan space.

An integrated daylight sensing feature with customisable lux thresholds allows the sensor to factor in ambient light when triggering lighting automation, supporting energy-efficient lighting control that avoids switching lights on in already well-lit spaces - a useful feature in glazed lobbies and atriums common in UAE developments.
