Questions we get asked
What happens if the battery dies or the power fails?
Smart locks retain a mechanical key override and low-battery warnings well ahead of failure, with an emergency power contact on most models. Wired access readers are specified with a UPS-backed supply on project installations.
Can the lock be linked to the rest of the smart home?
Yes. Opening the front door can switch on entrance lighting, disarm the alarm and bring the air conditioning back to setpoint, all handled locally by the gateway.
Do you supply video intercom for villas and towers?
Yes. Smart Pierre Boston and Springfield intercom units, along with the receptionist device, cover villas, apartment blocks and commercial lobbies.
Can the gate be operated from the app?
Yes, through the Smart Pierre gate opener module, which can also be triggered automatically on arrival.
