Intercom Boston 8"

The PIERRE Intercom Boston 8" is an outdoor door station built for villa entrances, apartment lobbies and gated communities across the UAE and Oman, combining an 8-inch, 800 x 1280 LCD touchscreen with facial recognition, RFID and PIN-based entry in a single weatherproof unit.

Its 2MP CMOS camera gives a 61° horizontal and 35° vertical field of view for clear visitor identification, and the dual Cortex-A7 processor runs the facial-recognition and touch interface locally. The 13.56MHz RFID reader supports both Wiegand and Mifare, so it can be tied into an existing access-control backend as well as the PIERRE Smart Home system.

With PIN, facial recognition, QR code and RFID unlocking methods available, the Boston 8" suits developments where different resident groups - owners, tenants, staff and visitors - need different access routes through the same door station, a common requirement in UAE gated villa communities and mid-rise residential buildings.
