Water Leak Sensor

The LifeSmart Water Leak Sensor detects water contact through a sensing probe on its underside and reports the event wirelessly to the LifeSmart gateway, giving an early warning before a small leak becomes a flooded bathroom, kitchen or plant room. It communicates over CoSS with a 100m open-field range.

In the UAE and Oman, water leak sensors are commonly placed under kitchen sinks, near water heaters, beside washing machines, in bathroom floor traps and near AC condensate drain pans - spots where a slow leak can go unnoticed for days in a sealed, air-conditioned apartment. It runs on a single CR2450 battery rated for up to a year.

A detected leak triggers an immediate alert through the LifeSmart app, and can be linked to scenes that shut a smart water valve if the property has one installed, giving a homeowner or facilities team time to respond before water damage spreads to neighbouring units, which matters particularly in multi-storey towers.
