Independent Photoelectric Smoke Detector (ZigBee)

The LifeSmart Independent Photoelectric Smoke Detector uses optical sensing to identify smoke during the early smouldering stage of a fire, sounding an independent alarm above 80dB and sending a wireless ZigBee 3.0 signal to the gateway so an alert also reaches the LifeSmart app. Early detection at this stage gives occupants more time to respond before a fire develops.

Battery life of more than three years on a single CR123A cell, combined with a heat-resistant ABS and PC casing, suits ceiling or wall mounting in bedrooms, hallways, kitchens and store rooms across a UAE villa or apartment without frequent battery changes. Its ZigBee 3.0 radio gives it an 50m open-field range to the nearest ZigBee gateway or hub.

As part of a wider LifeSmart deployment, a triggered smoke alarm can be linked to scenes that switch on hallway lighting, unlock a smart lock for evacuation, or notify a family member's phone, adding a layer of automated response beyond the audible alarm alone.
