General Controller

The LifeSmart General Controller bridges third-party electrical devices into the LifeSmart ecosystem, giving up to five control modes across three interfaces so that non-LifeSmart equipment - motors, valves, existing switchgear - can be brought under the same app and scene automation as the rest of a smart home. It communicates over CoSS with a 200m open-field range.

This is typically specified on UAE and Oman retrofit projects where some electrical infrastructure already exists and cannot easily be replaced with LifeSmart-native devices, but the client still wants unified control and scene automation. Consultants use it to fold legacy equipment into a new smart home design without a full rewire.

Rated for a 3A maximum overload and running from DC 12V/24V, it is small enough (83.6 x 47.0 x 22.3mm) to fit inside a distribution board enclosure or ceiling void alongside the equipment it is integrating.
